Annie Mae Roach

 Annie Mae McDaniel Roach, 82, of Stanardsville, passed away peacefully on January 27, 2021.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest W. Roach; her parents, James Arthur McDaniel and Hattie Mae McDaniel; three brothers, Dennis R. McDaniel, James Ellis McDaniel, and Raymond C. McDaniel; four sisters, Della Mae Rogers, Madeline Shifflett,  Ada M. Shifflett, and Gladys Breeden.

She is survived by her son, Keith W. Roach of Stanardsville; two brothers, David McDaniel and Delmer McDaniel, both of Stanardsville; two sisters, Irene M. Morris of Stanardsville, and Lottie F. McCauley and husband Don of Charlottesville; and a number of extended family members, in-laws, friends, and acquaintances.

Mrs. Roach was born on May 5, 1938. She spent most of her life as a housewife but also held a number of different occupations, including a restaurant cook and a caregiver.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, February 3, 2021, at Holly Memorial Gardens with Brother Frank Chapman officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to Ryan Funeral Home to assist with the funeral arrangements. Contributions can be dropped off in person, phone contributions are accepted, both during business hours. You may also mail contributions to P.O. Box 33 Quinque, VA 22965.
