Barbara Snow Jenkins
Barbara Snow Jenkins, 69, of Ruckersville, VA passed away on Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at the University of Virginia Medical Center. She was born on May 19, 1945 in Baltimore, MD to the late Everett and Carrie Deane Snow.
Mrs. Jenkins loved to dance and was an avid clogger but above all she was an amazing, devoted mother and grandmother who loved her family dearly.
She is survived by her children, Christopher Jenkins and his wife, Kelly of Afton and Valerie Jenkins and her fiancé, Rhodell Dowell of Ruckersville; and ten grandchildren, Kirtley Jenkins, Meghan Galindo-Martinez, Tyler Rader, Savanna Jenkins, Ansley Jenkins, Gabriella Morris, Jared Morris, Camden Dowell, Hunter Dowell and Gavin Dowell; and a special friend, Donald Wyant.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister, Joyce Jarrell.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, October 17, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Ryan Funeral Home, 12819 Spotswood Trail Ruckersville, VA 22968. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in her name to her family c/o Ryan Funeral Home, PO Box 33 Quinque, VA 22965.
