Barbara Beasley Morris

Barbara Beasley Morris, 69, of Stanardsville passed away peacefully in her sleep at her residence on April 27, 2016.
She was born July 6, 1946 in McGaheysville, Virginia, daughter of Edna K. Beasley Cannela of Port Richie, Florida and the late Elmer Beasley.
Barbara is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Robert “Bobby” C. Morris, Jr.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her mother; sons, Mark Morris and his wife, Kelly of Stanardsville, Virginia, Tim Morris and his wife, Lisa of Stuarts Draft, Virginia, James Beasley and his wife, Debbie of Keswick, Virginia; 7 grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren.
Barbara was a homemaker and was an employee of Greene County Public Schools as an Elementary Teacher’s Assistant. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and devout Christian.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday, April 29, 2016 at Ryan Funeral Home, 12819 Spotswood Trail, Ruckersville with Barbara’s grandson, James “Jimbo” Morris officiating. Interment will follow at Lydia Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made in Barbara’s name to Medi Home Health and Hospice, 1540 Insurance Lane Bldg. E Suite A, Charlottesville, VA 22911.
