Bertha Lee Morris, 91, of Free Union, VA passed away on Friday, March 30, 2018 at Grace Health and Rehab of Greene. She was born on March 30, 1927 in Rockingham County to the late Herbert and Arlene Collier.
She is survived by her children, Al Morris and his wife, Ruby of Earlysville, Rick Morris of Charlottesville and Sharon Faye Snyder of Charlottesville; siblings, Shirley Knight, Linda Collier, Barbara Shifflett and Randolph Collier; 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Lester Lee Morris; her son, Lester L. Morris, Jr.; and siblings, Delany Collier, Johnny Collier and Beulah Shifflett.
The family will receive friends on Monday, April 2, 2018 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Ryan Funeral Home, 12819 Spotswood Trail, Ruckersville, VA 22968.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at 1 p.m. at Evergreen Cemetery with Pastor Frank Chapman officiating.
