Carl Anthony Morris “Tony”, 54, of Stanardsville, VA passed away on Monday, October 23, 2017 at his parent’s residence. He was born on February 25, 1963 in Rockingham, VA to Wilmer and Dorothy “Jeannie” Morris of Stanardsville, VA.
Our Daddy is the most loving, hardest working, friendliest, caring and determined man we know. He does everything in his power to make sure Jarrett and I have everything we need and want. We are very lucky to have such a loving, caring and selfless father to raise us. Braylen and Chyler will remember you as PeePaw and grow up to learn all the things that you taught us when we were little. We now have a beautiful guardian angel looking over us. We will always be thankful of you. We will always remember those great memoires and laughs we shared with you. We love you Daddy.
In addition to his parents he is survived by his children, Leyton McKenna Morris and her boyfriend, Brandon Trainum and Jarrett Anthony Morris; siblings, Richie Morris and his wife, Terri and Brad Courtney; grandchildren, Braylen Chase Trainum and Chyler Mae Trainum; and nieces, Kasey Morris, Nicole Morris, Peyton Courtney and nephew, Connor Courtney.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 26, 2017 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Ryan Funeral Home, 12819 Spotswood Trail, Ruckersville, VA 22968.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 27, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Ryan Funeral Home with Pastor Clyde Plum officiating.
Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
