Carroll Lee Shipp, Jr., 76, of Barboursville, VA passed away on Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at his residence. He was born on December 25, 1940 in Charlottesville, VA to the late Carroll and Emma Shipp.
He is survived by his children, Carroll Shipp, III and his wife, Audra and Stacey Shipp Martin and her husband, Keith and their children, Caroline Martin and Josh Martin; cherished companion for over 20 years, Marilyn Ball; mother of his children, Mary Shipp; his sister, Mildred Hornbeck; special aunt, Mildred Richards Sparks; and numerous extended family and friends.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sisters, Violet Valdovich and Linda Nicholson.
A gathering for family and friends will be held at his home on Sunday, December 17, 2017 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., 234 Albano Rd., Barboursville, VA 22923.
