Charles Stuart Hixon

Charles Stuart Hixon, 85, of Stanardsville, passed away on Friday, December 29, 2023, at the Center of Acute Hospice Care in Charlottesville. Stuart was born on June 18, 1938, the son of the late Charlie Hixon and Lillie Elliott.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Emma Jean Mason.

Stuart is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Shirley Chlorine Shifflett Hixon; his only child, Charles Wayne Hixon; and his daughter-in-law, Donna Hixon.

All services will be private.
