Charlotte Richardson Herbert

Charlotte Richardson Herbert, 76, of Ironto, Virginia, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 26, 2021. Born June 10, 1944 in Roanoke, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late William Buford Richardson and Rachel Grubb Richardson.

Charlotte was a master gardener through the Piedmont Chapter, providing volunteer support on the grounds of Monticello. She was also a proud graduate of Ohio State University, having taken classes part time from 1977-1997 while working full time.

She is survived by her family and friends who love her.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at Holly Memorial Gardens, 3251 Seminole Trail Charlottesville, VA 22911 with Pastor Devon Earle officiating. 

In lieu of flowers, Charlotte requested that contributions be made to Hospice of the Piedmont in Charlottesville, 675 Peter Jefferson Parkway Suite 300 Charlottesville, VA 22911.
