Connie Sue Shifflett

Connie Sue Shifflett, 51, of Ruckersville, passed away on Monday, July 30, 2018 at Martha Jefferson Hospital. She was born on September 1, 1966 in Albemarle County to the late Samuel Clarence Shifflett and Virginia Shifflett.

She is survived by her companion, Bill Shifflett of Ruckersville; son, Waylon Shifflett and his fiancé, Caitlin of Stanardsville; daughter, Jessica Smith and her fiancé, Aaron Niehaus of Louisa; sisters, Delmere Roach of Stanardsville, Lois Shifflett of Somerset, Helen Morris and her husband, Earl of Dyke and Patsy Roach and her husband, Johnny of Gordonsville; 4 grandchildren, Colton Smith, McKinley Niehaus, Wyatt Niehaus and Kinsley Lailynn Shifflett.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister, Minnie Shifflett and brother, James Ommie Shifflett.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 2, 2018 at 2 p.m. at Ryan Funeral Home, 12819 Spotswood Trail, Ruckersville, VA 22968, with Brother Chubby Sykes officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
