Dale Whitten Ball, Jr.

Dale Whitten Ball, Jr., 57, of Stanardsville, Virginia passed away Thursday, October 29, 2020 at his daughter’s home.

He was born July 4, 1963 in Charlottesville, Virginia, son of the late Dale Whitten Ball, Sr. and Elizabeth Ann McCauley Ball.

In addition to his parents, Dale was preceded in death by his sons, Damien Scott Shifflett and Eric Ball; and sister, Carolyn Rogers.

He is survived by his daughter, Amber Ball (Travis); siblings, Deloris Broderick (Calvin), Joy Spitzer (Harry), Wayne Ball (Renee), William Moon (Stephanie), Brenda Moon, Joyce Lowery (Clifford), Bonnie Statzer (Russell); and numerous grandsons, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends.

Dale was a roofer most of his life. He loved nature, spending time in the woods and the mountains.  He had a heart of gold.
