David M. Perkins

David M. Perkins, 78, of Louisa, VA passed away November 17, 2018 at the University of Virginia Medical Center.
He was born October 31, 1940, son of the late Raymond D. Perkins and Ellen Louise Richardson Perkins.
David is survived by his daughter, Sandra D. Perkins Carpenter of Gordonsville, VA; his granddaughters, Victoria L. Carpenter and Lacee A. Carpenter also of Gordonsville, VA; his brother, Donald G. Perkins and his wife, Nelda of Louisa, VA; and many other family members and friends.
Dave was retired. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. Often, he could be found ‘at the pond’ fishing. He was also a member of Macedonia United Methodist Church.
One of his favorite roles was that as grandfather. He treasured the time he spent with his granddaughters, Tori and Lacee.
A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 P.M. Sunday, December 2, 2018 at Macedonia United Methodist Church, 17 Byrd Mill Road Louisa, VA 23093 with Pastor Steve M. Hall officiating. A luncheon will follow the service.
