Dolly Ann McCauley

Dolly Ann Frazier McCauley, 86, of Dyke, Virginia passed away Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at her home.

She was born October 25, 1935 in Albemarle County, Virginia, daughter of the late Bluford Frazier and Mandy Collier Frazier.

In addition to her parents, Dolly was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, George W. McCauley, Sr.; daughter, Alice Cressel; son-in-law, Hobert Cressel; granddaughter, Rylan Lay; two sisters; and three brothers.

Dolly is survived by her children, George W. McCauley, Jr. and his wife, Donna, Marvin McCauley and his wife, Gloria, Lois Boston and her husband, Benjamin, John McCauley and his wife, Jeannette and Nancy Frazier and her husband, Allen; 14 grandchildren; 3 honorary grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Audrey Davis and Virginia Thompson; and many other family members and friends.

Dolly was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.  She was a member of Nortonsville Church of God.

The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 P.M. Friday, May 20, 2022 at Nortonsville Church of God, 1505 Simmons Gap Road Dyke, VA 22935.

 A funeral service will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, May 21, 2022 at Nortonsville Church of God with Pastor David Allison officiating.  Interment will follow at Holly Memorial Gardens.
