Doris Marie Conley

Doris Marie Conley, 79, of Ruckersville, VA passed away December 10, 2018 at The Harbor.

She was born December 19, 1938 in Charlottesville, VA, daughter of the late Eugene Cecil Raines and Minnie Ola Wise Raines.

Doris is survived by a loving family including her husband, Rodger Shifflett; two sons, Dale Conley and his wife, Mellisa, Carlton Conley and his wife, Pam; a loving and devoted sister, Marjorie Madison; sister-in-law, Frances Raines; three grandsons, Brendon, Braden and BradLee Conley; two granddaughters, Rebecca Conley, Lindsey Henerson and her husband, Morgan and their son, Mason; two great grandchildren, Callie and Kevin Buchanan and many other family members and friends.

In addition to her parents, Doris was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Joann Conley; grandson, Dale Conley, Jr.; brother, Donald “Beady” Raines; sister, Darlene Hoffman; brother-in-laws, Joel Hoffman and Bill Madison.

Doris was employed for 30 years at Murray Manufacturing and was later employed by Virginia Linen for several years. She was a member of Wolftown Pentecostal Church and attended Emmanuel Christian Center.

The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 P.M. Thursday, December 13, 2018 at Ryan Funeral Home, 12819 Spotswood Trail Ruckersville, VA 22968.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, December 14, 2018 at Ryan Funeral Home with Pastor Wendell Lamb officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
