Doris Mae McCauley, 60, of Barboursville, VA passed away on Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at her residence. She was born on June 4, 1956 in Charlottesville, VA to the late Solomon D. McCauley and Louise Morris McCauley.
She enjoyed word searches, reading, listening to music, and front porch sitting. She was always the first to greet family members and visitors.
She is survived by her siblings, Betty & Andrew Frazier, David McCauley, Edward & Diana McCauley, Pete & Ann McCauley, Paula and Keith Huckstep and Henry McCauley; as well as numerous nieces & nephews.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her siblings James McCauley and Anna Johnson.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 2, 2016 at 10 a.m. at Free Union Church of the Brethren, 4152 Free Union Rd, Charlottesville, VA 22901.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Interment will follow at Free Union Church of the Brethren Cemetery.
