Dorothy Louise Collier

Dorothy Louise Wells Collier, 91, of Charlottesville, Virginia, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 18, 2021. Dorothy was born on May 3, 1930. The daughter of the late Rulen Horace Wells and Helen Washington Davis.

In addition to her parents, she was proceeded in death by her husband, Floyd Collier; two brothers, and three sisters.

She is survived by her sons, Steve, Mark, and Mike Houchens; daughters, Gail and Glennan Powell; ten grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Dorothy was a member of the Full Gospel Assembly, and a volunteer at Martha Jefferson Hospital. She retired from Comdial as an assembler after many years of devoted service.

A graveside service will be held at Holly Memorial Gardens on Wednesday, September 22, 2021, beginning at 1 PM with Ronald Sipe officiating.
