Douglas Stephen Theisen, 58, of Stanardsville, VA passed away on Friday, September 26, 2014 in Culpeper County. He was born on November 6, 1955 in Indianapolis, IN to Alvin and Leona Theisen of Arlington, VA.
In addition to his parents he is survived by his siblings, Marilynn Knowles and her husband, Larry, Michael Theisen, Mark Theisen and his wife, Patricia, and Deborah Peavey and her husband, Raymond.
Additional survivors include his nieces and nephews, Sharon Codispoti and her husband, Vincent, Renee Theisen, Melissa Palmer, Mark Theisen, Jr., Christopher Theisen and Katherine Theisen and his fiancé, Lenora Bell.
The family will receive friends on Friday, October 3, 2014 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Ryan Funeral Home, 12819 Spotswood Trail Ruckersville, VA 22968.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Shepherd of the Hills Catholic Church with Father Michael officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Interment will be held in Ruckersville Cemetery.
