Edna Koslowski Tyburski

Edna Koslowski Tyburski, born November 30, 1935, passed away peacefully at her home on August 14, 2026.

Edna was born in Eastern Europe to Edward and Anna Koslowski. In 1956, she married Ewald Tyburski, and together they shared 70 years of marriage and raised six children. The family lived in Easthampton, Massachusetts, before moving to Virginia in 1982.

Edna was a devoted homemaker who took great pride in caring for her family. She enjoyed baking, cooking, and sewing. Her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchild were the center of her life and brought her great joy. She was especially blessed to meet her great-grandchild, Mark, for the first time on Easter.

Edna was preceded in death by her husband, Ewald, who passed away on June 25, 2026; her parents, Edward and Anna Koslowski; and her son, Siegfried Tyburski.

She is survived by her children, Al Tyburski, Richard Tyburski, Irene Coleman, Robert Tyburski, and Kenneth Tyburski and his wife, Christine. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Emily, Kathleen Everett and her husband, Chris, Brittany, Brooke, Brett and his wife, Rachel, Jason, Christina, and Robert; and her great-grandchild, Mark.

Edna will be remembered for her love of family and the many years she devoted to caring for those she loved. She will be deeply missed by her family and loved ones.

A private service will be held for the family.
