Elmer Owen Morris, 63, of Free Union passed away Sunday, January 14, 2018 at his home.
He was born March 25, 1954 in Charlottesville, VA, son of the late Folton and Gladys Morris.
Elmer is survived by his wife, Linda Collier; two sons, Donald E. Morris of Free Union and Paul E. Morris and his girlfriend, Katie of Cornelius, NC; two daughters, Elaine Shifflett and her significant other, Brian Trinks of Free Union and Ashley Morris and her fiancé, Eric Baker of Madison; special niece, Sharonda Foley of Nelson County; and five grandchildren, Ethan Shifflett, Wade Shifflett, Emma Trinks, Dixie “Little Bear” Shifflett and Gavin Baker.
Elmer was a truck driver for many years.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at Prize Hill Cemetery with Pastor John Mitchell officiating.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 P.M. Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at Ryan Funeral Home, 12819 Spotswood Trail, Ruckersville, VA.
