Evelyn Shifflett

Evelyn Harlene Breeden Shifflett, age 90, passed away peacefully in her sleep at home on 07/05/2026. She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Elwood Shifflett; a son, Kevin Dale Shifflett; and her parents, Buck and Lydia Shifflett.

She is survived by her daughter, Debra Anglin, and two sons, Kenneth Wayne Shifflett and Elwood Steve Shifflett. Grandchildren, Daniel Roach (Lauren) and their children, Blake Bibb (fiancé Mary Britton), and Ryder Roach; Bradley Shifflett (Jocelyn); Holly Bronder (Steve) and their son Tucker; and Katie Shifflett.

One of Evelyn's greatest joys was fellowship in her faith at Nortonsville Church of God.

Evelyn retired from Martha Jefferson Hospital after 40 years as a pharmacy technician, during which she formed many lasting relationships.

A funeral service will be held at Nortonsville Church of God on Thursday, July 9th, 2026, at 1 p.m. Interment will follow at Holly Memorial Gardens.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Batten Funeral Home of Ruckersville, Virginia.
