Frankie Lane Gault, III

Frankie Lane Gault, III, 16, went to rest on November 21, 2025. He was born on January 1, 2009, to Frankie Lane Gault, Jr, and Rene Terry.

He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Lucille Gault, Joseph M. Terry Sr., and Dorothy Terry, also by his step-grandmother, Linda Gault.

In addition to his parents, he leaves behind to cherish his memory his grandparents, Cheryl Gault of Palmyra, VA, Joseph (June) Terry of Charlottesville, VA, and Frankie Gault Sr. of

Petersburg, VA; his siblings, Terence Tyree, Kierra Johnson-Gault, Carmen Tyree, Adrian Gault & Isaiah Gault; aunts and uncles, Adrienne (Stephen) Noakes, Stacey Gault, Joseph Terry III (Roslyn) Terry; nieces, Onami & Annaleia; along with many more family members who loved him deeply, and a loving community of friends.

Frankie had an infectious smile that could light up any room. He attended both Greene County and Albemarle County schools, where he was a talented multi-sport athlete. He loved fishing, football, basketball, playing video games, and spending time with friends and family. Frankie believed in God and chose Psalm 28:7 as his foundational scripture ~ “The Lord is my

strength and my shield.”

The family invites friends to gather and pay their respects on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at Batten Funeral Home. To accommodate the expected attendance, three visitation periods will be offered: 9:00–11:00 a.m., 1:00–3:00 p.m., and 5:00–7:00 p.m. Guests are kindly asked to follow the guidance of funeral home staff to help ensure that everyone has the opportunity to honor Frankie’s memory.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 4, 2025, at Nortonsville Church of God, beginning at 4:30 p.m.
