Franklin J. Robertson

Franklin J. Robertson, loving husband and father, passed away on March 29, 2014 at the age of 74 from a battle with pneumonia.

 He was preceded in death by his mother, Pearl Watson Robertson, father, Franklin E. Robertson, brother, Robert E. Robertson and nephew, Russell Robertson.

 He leaves behind his wife, Paula Kasko Robertson, daughter, Cynthia Robertson, brother, Patrick T. Robertson of Richardsville, VA and nephew, Patrick Robertson of MD.

 He was a truck driver most of his life. He drove for Giant Food, Emery Air Freight, Allied Concrete and several other companies.

 In his teenage years he won many dance contests in the 50’s and was a champion speed skater on the East Coast.

 By his request there will be only a graveside service at Holly Memorial Gardens at 12 p.m. Tuesday, April 1, 2014.

 In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Westover UMC, PO Box 229 Ruckersville, VA 22968, for the church building fund.
