Gabby Banks

Gabrielle “Gabby” Brianna Banks, age 25, passed away unexpectedly at her home in Crozet, Virginia, on December 17, 2025.

Gabby was born on May 28, 2000, in Charlottesville, Virginia. She leaves behind her precious son, Yula Mana Akkara. She is also survived by her devoted grandparents, Bernard and Patsy Wyant, who raised her; her father, Thomas “Tommy” Wyant; her grandmother, Louise Banks; her birth mother, Tracey Banks; and her two half-sisters, Keuana Banks and Tierra Banks. She also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Gabby was free-spirited and adventurous, embracing life with courage, curiosity, and an open heart. She never shied away from a new adventure and was unapologetically herself, marching to the beat of her own drum and welcoming and loving all. Endlessly creative and devoted plant enthusiast, she found joy and peace in nurturing growth and beauty. She adored her granddaddy; Bernard and he adored her right back, never forgetting his or Patsy’s birthdays or the holidays. Gabby’s spirit and individuality will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00pm Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at Holly Memorial Gardens with Pastor Brian Cadle officiating.
