George Eddie Smith

George Eddie Smith, 70, of Ruckersville, VA passed away on Sunday, July 26, 2015 at his residence. He was born on November 7, 1944 in Charlottesville, VA to the late George and Lillie Clements Smith.
He is survived by his sons, Chuck, Alex and Kenneth and their children; his granddaughter, Brandy Collier; great grandchildren, Hunter Hovey and Brianna Collier; siblings, Virginia Sprouse, Janet Smith, Franklin Smith, Gary Smith, Henry Smith, and Brad Smith; and many, many friends.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Anita Jane Buzbee Smith and sisters, Nellie Bethel and Mildred Hensley.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, August 4, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Culpeper National Cemetery with Pastor Josh Shifflett officiating and honors provided by the VFW Post 2524.
Interment will follow in Culpeper National Cemetery
