Goldie Ann Deane

Goldie Ann Deane, 79, of Stanardsville, Virginia passed away Monday, July 26, 2021 at the University of Virginia Medical Center.

She was born September 17, 1941, daughter of the late Floyd Allen Shifflett and Mildred Shifflett.

In addition to her parents, Goldie was preceded in death by a grandson, Kenny Deane.

Goldie is survived by her husband, Lloyde J. Deane; son, Lloyde “Willie” E. Deane and his wife, Karen; two sisters, Hazel Collier and Sylvia Morris and her husband, Ray; and many other family members and friends.

Goldie retired from Wrangler after many years of service.

The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 P.M. Thursday, July 29, 2021 at Ryan Funeral Home, 12819 Spotswood Trail Ruckersville, Virginia 22968.

A funeral service will be held 2:00 P.M. Friday, July 30, 2021 at Mt. Hermon Mennonite Church, 1640 Mutton Hollow Road Stanardsville, Virginia 22973 with Vernon Peachy officiating. Interment will follow at the church cemetery.
