James “Jimmy” Stewart Hensley
James “Jimmy” Stewart Hensley, 73, of Ruckersville passed away Friday, August 30, 2013 at the University of Virginia Medical Center.
He was born August 9, 1940 in Charlottesville, Virginia, son of the late Aubrey Hensley and Mattie Morris Hensley.
Jimmy is survived by his wife of 49 years, Jurine; his daughter, Vernell Shifflett and her husband, James; two grandchildren, Megan and Sheldon Shifflett, whom he loved dearly; one sister, LaVerne Tooley of Greensboro, North Carolina and her family.
Per Jimmy’s wishes, there will be no viewing and a private family service will be scheduled for a later date.
The family would like to thank the Greene County Rescue Squad for their services.
