Jeremy Jerel Shifflett

Jeremy Jerel Shifflett, 34, of Stanardsville, Virginia, passed away on Friday, February 2, 2024. He was born on Sunday, June 11, 1989, at Martha Jefferson Hospital to Jeffery Jerome Shifflett, Sr., and Lisa Ann Morris Shifflett.

In addition to his parents, Jeremy is survived by his stepparents, Tommy Shifflett of Stanardsville and Brenda Shiffett of Scottsville; siblings, Jessica Rogers (Bradley), Jeffery Shifflett, Jr. (Brandy), Jey Shifflett (Lexi), Tommy “3” Shifflett (Hannah), and Jenna Shifflett; stepsiblings, TJ Shifflett, Tiffany Shifflett, Charity Bibb, and Bryan Bibb; a very special aunt and uncle, Travis and Amanda Brown; grandparents, Edward Lee Morris, and Rozelia “Granny” Shifflett; very special friends, John and Heather Sewell, and his family and friends at work; numerous other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. 

Jeremy was preceded in death by grandparents Sylvia Morris, Margie Shifflett, James Otis Shifflett, Winnie Tullor, and Leabert Shifflett. 

Jeremy loved his job at the ABC Store in Madison and loved interacting with the patrons. Jeremy loved football, especially the Carolina Panthers. He loved music, his dog, NASCAR, and his family.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, February 9, 2024, beginning at 1:30 p.m. at Batten Funeral Home.
