Jesse Charles Norris

Jesse Charles Norris, 42, of Hood, VA, passed away on August 2, 2025, as a result of an automobile accident. He is in the arms of Jesus; may his memory always be a blessing to you.

Born on October 22, 1981, in Nashville, Tennessee, he never knew his dad. His mom passed away when he was a teenager, and he lived most of his life in foster care. However, he had a passion for coffee, music, stars, sunrises, sunsets, his friends, his pets, and to succeed!

He loved working outdoors, which led to his starting his own landscaping business, Personal Touch Landscaping, in North Carolina. In May of this year, Jesse decided to return home to Virginia and began employment with D&D Lawncare, where he continued until his passing.

Jesse is survived by his daughter Phoenix Hindt and her mother Jeanine Hindt, his puppies Holly, Jade, Lala, and Tink, who are being cared for by his friend Heather Seegul, as well as several other special friends. Jesse leaves behind many who loved him as family. I carry these words with me. “God’s got me.” Until I see you again, my friend, know you were loved.

A celebration of his life will be announced at a later date.
