Jessica Nicole Riner Walton

Jessica Nicole Riner Walton, 45, of Stanardsville, Virginia, went home to be with her heavenly Father on Friday, January 9, 2026.

Born on November 22, 1980, in Charlottesville, she was the daughter of Ronald Wayne Riner and the late June Shifflet.

In addition to her mother, she is preceded in death by her husband, Michael Scott Walton.

Jessica leaves behind her loving boyfriend of almost four years, Keith Harris; her four daughters, Jorden Walton Bruce (Samantha), Emily Walton (Taylen), Gracie Walton, and Taylor Walton (Jacob); three grandchildren, Nariyah, Makenzie, and Kingston; three sisters, Jodie Harlow, Crystal Riner, and Deana Parrott; special best friends, Kandi Shifflett (Heather) and Heather Morris; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Jessica loved spending time with her family and friends. Most of her time was spent with her children and grandchildren, and she wouldn’t have wanted it any other way. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy. There was nobody in the world that could ever amount to her babies. Jessica always made everyone feel like her home was their home. She loved spending time at the beach, breathing in the salty air. Some of her favorite things to do were walking the strip shopping and feeling the water hitting her feet. She will always be remembered and never forgotten. She will truly be missed.

The family will receive friends on Friday, January 16, 2026, at Nortonsville Church of God from 5:00-8:00.

A funeral service will be conducted beginning at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at Nortonsville Church of God with Pastor James David Allison officiating. Interment will follow at Prize Hill Cemetery.
