Joan Virginia deLeyer, 70, of Dyke, VA died on Tuesday, October 1, 2013 at her residence. She was born on April 27, 1943 in Massachusetts to the late Albin and Virginia Gaisunas.
She is survived by her husband of over 30 years, Harry deLeyer, her daughter, Jennifer Dahlman Gurney of Cazenovia, NY, her son, Ernest Dahlman of San Diego, CA, her grandchildren, Ava, Eliza, Wesley, Chase and Peyton, her brother Gary Gaisunas and a special friend, Carolyn Arney.
A private service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in her name to the American Heart Association, PO Box 5216 Glenn Allen, VA 23058-5216.
