John William Sparks, Jr.

John William Sparks, Jr., 68, of Barboursville, VA passed away Thursday, December 27, 2018.

He was born June 4, 1950 in Charlottesville, VA, son of Mary Mildred Richards Sparks and the late John William Sparks, Sr.

John is survived by his loving wife, Linda Sparks; daughter, Lori Fisher and her husband, Josh; grandchildren, Pearson and Ava Fisher; sister, Pat Fairfax and her husband, Donald; brother, Allan Sparks and his wife, Gwen; and many other family members and friends.

In addition to his father, John was preceded in death by a sister, Juanita Nicholson.

The family will receive friends from 4:00-6:00 P.M. Saturday, December 29, 2018 at Ryan Funeral Home, 12819 Spotswood Trail Ruckersville, VA 22968.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, December 30, 2018 at Albemarle Baptist Church, 1685 Roslyn Ridge Rd Charlottesville, VA 22901 with Pastor Marc DeLoach officiating. Interment to follow at Ruckersville Community Cemetery.
