Joyce Faye Butler

Joyce Faye (Collier) Butler, 68, of Ruckersville, VA passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at her residence. She was born on June 22, 1949 in Rockingham, VA to the late Sam and Mary Collier.
Mrs. Butler truly loved her family and was a devoted wife and adoring mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her husband of over 50 years, Otho R. Butler, Jr. “Sonny”; her son Otho R. Butler III “Raymie”; grandson, Nicholas B. Butler; sister, Barbara Collier; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her twin brother, Eddie Ray Collier and sister, Nancy Mallory.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 26, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Ryan Funeral Home, 12819 Spotswood Trail, Ruckersville, VA 22968 with Pastor David Allison officiating.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
