Joyce Ann Spencer Easton

Joyce Ann Easton, 64, of Mineral, VA died on Friday, January 18, 2013 at the University of Virginia Medical Center. She was born on September 26, 1948 in Charlottesville, VA to the late Wilton Walter Spencer, Sr and Nancy Mawyer Spencer.

Joyce was a member of Belmont Baptist Church. She loved doing various crafts including ceramics. Most of all her love was in her family, she was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother who will truly be missed.

She is survived by her husband of 27 years, Claude Easton and her children, Karen Delancey of Ruckersville, Sharon Shifflett and her husband, Michael of Barboursville, and Tracy Kuper of Louisa, two step children, Stephanie Easton and her husband, Lance Colvin of Mineral and Darrell Easton of Dyke.

Additional survivors include her siblings, Debra Huff and her husband, Michael of Ruckersville and Wilton Spencer and his wife, Anita of Palmyra, her grandchildren, Crystal Delancey and her fiancé, Shawn Ward, Ashlie Martin and her husband, Justin, Samantha Shifflett, Matthew Shifflett, Elijah Kuper, Ozzy Brill and his wife, Nancy, and Jeremy Brill, step grandchildren, Ryan Colvin, Zoey Colvin, Shane Easton, Evan Easton and Bryce Easton and two great grandchildren, Karlee Martin and Aubreayanna Brill.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister, Sandra Powell.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 23, 2013 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Ryan Funeral Home, 12819 Spotswood Trail Ruckersville, VA 22968.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, January 24, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Holly Memorial Gardens with Rev. Kyle Clements officiating.
