June Louise Thomas Mawyer
June Louise Thomas Mawyer, 81, of Stanardsville, passed away on Friday, November 28, 2014 at Grace Health and Rehabilitation. She was born on June 3, 1933 in Louisa, VA to the late Elijah and Louise Mahanes Thomas.
Mrs. Mawyer loved animals and flowers but had a devoted passion for taking care of others as a nurse all of her life. Her loving nature and sweet spirit will be lovingly remembered by her children, family and friends.
She is survived by her children, Linda Peregoy, Mary Tyler, Michael Orndoff, Rhonda Lowry, Judy Craig, Theresa Scott and Ronald Moyer, 12 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Percy Mawyer.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Holly Memorial Gardens.
