Kody Lee Oliver

Kody Lee Oliver, 26, of Greene County, Virginia, passed away on June 14, 2026.

Born in Charlottesville, Virginia, on January 11, 2000, Kody was a graduate of William Monroe High School and was employed with the Maintenance Department for the City of Charlottesville.

Kody is survived by his loving mother, Crystal Oliver (Kevin); his longtime girlfriend, Timberlee; his siblings, Logan Morris, Emmery Morris, Skyler Morris (Kristin), and Garrett Morris; his godmother, Amy Jones; his grandparents, MaryJane Oliver, Michael Oliver, and Granna; his aunt, Michelle (Brad) Metje; his cousins, Michael and McKenzie Via; and his best friend, Roger Anderson. He also leaves behind many other family members, friends, and coworkers who will cherish his memory. He is preceded in death by his longtime friend Kyle Wimer.

Kody loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting, fishing, mud bogging, and anything involving Toyotas. He loved old country music and was known for singing in the shower. His outgoing personality, contagious smile, and ability to make everyone feel welcome made him the life of the party wherever he went.

Though his life was far too short, Kody lived it to the fullest and leaves behind countless memories that will be treasured by all who knew and loved him.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Batten Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 18, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Nortonsville Church of God, with interment to follow at Evergreen Church Cemetery. A reception will follow at Dyke Volunteer Fire Company.
