Lilbern Winston Morris

Lilbern W.  Morris, 95, of Barboursville, Virginia went to be with the Lord on Friday, March 6, 2020.

Lilbern was born November 19, 1924 in Virginia, son of the late Jesse James and Bernice Morris.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Moody M. Morris; two sons, Jamie Snow and Ernest Snow; two daughters, Shirley Taylor and Maryann Roquest; granddaughter, Sharon Snow.

Lilbern is survived by a daughter, Debera M. Wingo and her husband, Mark; two sons, Carl Lewis Mason, Jr. and Charles W. Morris; 16 grandchildren, Kevin, Michael, Dawn, Kristin, Tammy, Carl, Justin, Sandra, Jamie, Sherrie, Tammy, Sharon, Barbara, Harold Jr., Debbie and Christopher; 23 great-grandchildren; one brother, Allen Morris;  and many other family members and friends.

Lilbern proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II.  He was a self-employed carpenter for many years.

The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 11, 2020 at Solid Rock Full Gospel Church, 3580 Spotswood Trail Barboursville, VA 22923.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 A.M. Thursday, March 12, 2020 at Solid Rock Full Gospel Church with Pastor Larry Morris officiating. Interment will follow at Holly Memorial Gardens.
