Lillie M. Kennedy

Lillie M. Kennedy, 86, of Ruckersville, Virginia departed this life on Monday, February 22, 2021.

She was preceded in death by parents, Walter and Etha Morris; daughters, Gail Knight and Sharon Knight; brother, Jacob Morris; and sister, Emily Eppard.

Lillie is survived by her husband of 46 years, George J. Kennedy; her children, Lyman “Butch” E. Knight, Jr., Bobby L. Knight, and Gloria Snow; and her brother, Wilbur Morris.

She is also survived by her grandchildren, Amy Shifflett, Erin Knight, Brandon Knight, Nathan Knight, Kenzie Cale, Kennon Snow, Kentry Snow and Kenlyn Snow; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Lillie was a member of Evergreen Church of the Brethren, Stanardsville Lodge 190, Hannah Rebekah Lodge 17 and Ambler Morris Encampment 22 IOOF.  All of which she served to the best of her ability.

Lillie retired from Sperry Marine after 20 years of service.

Though she has left us, her memory shall remain in our hearts.

The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 A.M. Thursday, February 25, 2021 at Evergreen Cemetery.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, February 25, 2021 at Evergreen Cemetery with Pastor Pat Kelliher officiating.
