Linda Frances Knight, 68, of Dyke, Virginia, passed away on Friday, April 17, 2026, at Martha Jefferson Hospital. Born on October 7, 1957, she was a daughter of the late James “Buddy” and Addie Knight.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a special niece, Crystal Dawn Morris.
She is survived by her brother, Earl Morris and his wife Helen, her sisters, Florence Dorrier and her husband Ronnie, Lois Richards and her husband Billy; 3 nephews, Thomas Wayne Mallory, Kevin Morris, and Christopher Richards; 1 niece, Whitney Brown; great-nephews, Skyler Morris, Chase Mallory, Logan Morris, and Garrett Morris; great-nieces, McKenzie Mallory, Taylor Mallory, and Emmery Morris; a special cousin, Theresa; special aunts, Ruby, Ruth, and Ida; as well as other cousins and friends.
Linda deeply loved her family and cherished every moment spent with them. She treated her nieces and nephews as though they were her own, affectionately calling them her ‘little kids.’ Linda had the biggest heart and devoted her life to caring for others. She always looked forward to church on Sundays, where she enjoyed spending time with her extended church family, whom she also cared for very much. Linda was rarely seen without her special boy, Bailey. If you happened to see her in a store, you could be sure Bailey would be in the shopping basket; and you could always count on a Christmas card featuring his latest headshot.
