Lois Estes Glass of Crofton, Maryland, passed away peacefully on June 18, 2026, at the age of 81.

Born on January 9, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Harold Estes and Azilee Deane Estes. Lois was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose life was rooted in her Christian faith and family.

She is survived by her loving husband, Woodrow Glass, Jr; her children, Timothy Glass and Melanie Glass Canada; her sister, Carolyn Estes Sillman; her brother, David Estes; and her cherished grandchildren, Evan Glass, Grady Glass, Bradley Lesko, Benjamin Lesko, Miles Lesko, and Carter Canada.

Lois was a charter member of Cornerstone Church in Bowie, Maryland, where she faithfully worshipped and served for many years. She will be remembered for her kindness, gentle spirit, steadfast faith, and the love she shared with her family and friends.

A visitation will be held on Monday, June 22, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Batten Funeral Home in Ruckersville, Virginia. A funeral service to celebrate her graduation into eternity with Jesus will begin at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home, with an interment to follow at Ruckersville Cemetery.

Lois's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Batten Funeral Home of Ruckersville, Virginia.
