Lucille Vest Buttner, 83, of Stanardsville, VA passed away on Sunday, October 8, 2017 at Martha Jefferson Hospital. She was born on November 7, 1933 in Afton, Virginia to the late Helen and Jessie Vest.
She is survived by her daughters, Wanda G. Byerly and her husband, George, Ivy B. Gray and her husband, Kirt, Diana Renee Buttner and Alice B. Fisher and her husband, Clifford; her sister, Margaret Dameron; five grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Lewis Franklin Buttner; granddaughter, Jaime Wilkerson and six siblings.
Services for Mrs. Buttner will be private.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Greene County Rescue Squad, PO Box 302, Stanardsville, VA 22973.
