Lucy Gilbert Snow

Lucy Gilbert Snow, 91, of Ruckersville, VA passed away on Monday, June 10, 2019 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Greene County on April 13, 1928 to the late Benjamin and Bertha Gilbert.

Lucy was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who cherished her family. She was known for her teapots and storytelling and she enjoyed going to antique shops to search for more treasures.

She is survived by her sons, Randall L. Snow, Michael D. Snow (Debra), and Kenneth D. Snow (Gloria); grandchildren, Kevin Snow (Kim), Brian Snow, Lauren Snow (JC), Kenzie Cale (Jimmy), Kennon Snow, Kenlyn Snow, and Kentry Snow (Carestin); 7 great grandchildren; and a special friend and caretaker, Debbie Williams.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Clingman Leroy Snow; son, Roger W. Snow; daughter-in-law, Janie Snow; and brothers, Elliott Gilbert and Russell Lee Gilbert.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 13, 2019 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Ryan Funeral Home, 12819 Spotswood Trail, Ruckersville, VA 22968.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 14, 2019 at 2 p.m. at Mountain View United Methodist Church, 11985 Spotswood Trail, Ruckersville, VA 22968, with Pastor Buster Payne and Pastor Jim Lacy, Jr. officiating.

Interment will follow at Stanardsville Cemetery.
