Marilyn Paquin

March 7, 1933 — April 30, 2024

Ruckersville

On the night of April 30th, 2024, surrounded by the love of her family and friends, Marilyn I. Paquin peacefully journeyed home to be reunited with her father. She leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories.

Born March 7, 1933, Marilyn “Blue Nanny” was the beloved sister of Gail Sudol and her husband Gene Sudol. She is survived by her daughters Marilyn J. Paquin and Kathleen M. Clifton, grandchildren Heather L. Jackson and Kristin L. Jacobs, as well as great-grandchildren Austin A. Davis, Keyrstin M. Jacobs, and Marissa Jackson.

Marilyn battled with the pains of arthritis for many years, yet she faced each day with grace and courage. In honor of her struggle, donations can be made to the Arthritis Foundation. https://fundraise.arthritis.org/campaign/Marilyn-Paquin

Her life was filled with joyous moments centered around her favorite activities: singing, dancing, and swimming. Marilyn found solace and happiness in the company of her friends and family, whom she held dear. She shared 48 beautiful years of marriage with her late husband, Fredrick J. Paquin, and together, they embraced life's celebrations with open arms, treating everyone they encountered like family.

A celebration of Marilyn's remarkable life will be announced in the days to come. May her spirit continue to dance among the waters she loved, and may her memory bring comfort to all who knew and loved her.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Batten Funeral Home.
