Marjorie Jane Galt

Marjorie Jane Galt, 91, of Stanardsville, Virginia passed away Monday, November 29, 2021 at her home.

She was born January 29, 1930, daughter of the late John Arthur White and Helen Weickel White.

In addition to her parents, Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Stanley Galt III.

Marjorie is survived by her children, Susan Kimmel (Greg), Ernest Galt, III, Jennifer Sevier (Paul), Elizabeth Kennedy (John) and John Galt; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and many other extended family and friends, whom she loved dearly.

All services will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Marjorie’s name to Hospice of the Piedmont, 675 Peter Jefferson Parkway Suite 300 Charlottesville, VA 22911 and/or the charity of one’s choice.
