Mary Edith Conley

Mary Edith Conley, 84, of Stanardsville, Virginia passed away Monday, January 11, 2021.

She was born September 6, 1936 in Greene County, VA, daughter of the late Andrew Roach and Carrie Shifflett Roach.

In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Ellis Conley; siblings, Thelma Morris, James Roach, Alton Roach, Glen Roach, Andrew Roach, Doris Roach, Billy Roach, Vergie Deane and Dora Roach.

Mary is survived by her husband, Elvin Conley; children, Barbara “Jeannie” Conley (Greg Morris), Kay Rogers (Walter), Thomas Conley (Barbara), Betty Roach (Wayne); stepchildren, Scottie Conley and Angela Snead (Chris); siblings, Virginia Snow, Charles Roach and Lena Woodson; grandchildren, Katrina Conley, Junior Rogers, Bradley Rogers, T.J. Conley, Kenny Conley, Keith Roach and Ozzie Roach; step-grandchildren, Erica Lovingwood and Aarron Snead; 11 great-grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren; and many other family members and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, January 15, 2021 at Ryan Funeral Home, 12819 Spotswood Trail Ruckersville, VA 22968 with Pastor Wendell Lamb officiating. Interment will follow at Holly Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
