Melinda “Penny” Dale Harlow LaMountain, 58, of Barboursville, VA passed away Saturday, September 2, 2017 at her home.
Penny was born December 18, 1958 in Charlottesville, VA, daughter of the late William Henry Harlow and Virginia Clements Harlow.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, William Charles Harlow.
Penny is survived by her husband, Tom LaMountain; two sons, Travis William LaMountain and his girlfriend, Mary Currier, Kyle David LaMountain all of Barboursville; two brothers, Michael R. Harlow and his wife, Kathy of Palmyra, Gary “Buzzy” L. Harlow and his wife, Alma of Ruckersville; sister-in-law, Marian Harlow of Charlottesville; three nephews, Scott Harlow, Alan Harlow and Kelly Harlow; one niece, Kristie Harlow; and close friend, Brenda Koonce of Charlottesville; one aunt, Hazel “Butch” Allen.
She was a medical records technician at the University of Virginia.
Penny was an avid photographer who enjoyed photographing sporting events at William Monroe High School and providing photos to the Greene County Record. She enjoyed attending country music concerts and her favorite musician was Jason Michael Carroll.
Services and interment will be private.
