Nathan Gingerich

Nathan Gingerich was born on June 21, 1971, in Seymour, Missouri. He passed away peacefully at his home on August 1, 2026, at 9:50 p.m., at the age of 55.

Nathan and his sister, Ada Mae, were both born with cerebral palsy. Throughout his life, Nathan depended on the devoted care of his parents, Abe and Amanda Gingerich. Through their unwavering dedication and selfless love, Nathan was able to live a full and meaningful life, far exceeding his expected length of life. His life stands as a profound testament to the grace of God and to the faithfulness, love, and devotion of his family.

Nathan is survived by his parents, Abe and Amanda Gingerich, his sister, Ada Mae, and his siblings and their spouses: Joanna and Allen Stoltzfus of Holtwood, Pennsylvania, Regina and Mark Smucker of Bridgewater, Virginia, Christine and Dan Hostetler of McVeytown, Pennsylvania, Joe and Rhoda Gingerich of Dyke, Virginia, Rachel and Michael Weirich of Butler, Ohio, and Marcus and Melissa Gingerich of Free Union, Virginia.

He was preceded in death by his two nieces, Kassandra Weirich and Jocelyn Gingerich.

The Gingerich Family would like to thank each of you for your presence today as we celebrate the life of Nathan. He will be deeply missed by all of us! Your continued prayers for our parents would be appreciated as they adjust to their home void of his presence.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 4th, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m at Faith Mission Fellowship. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 5th, at 10:00 a.m. with committal to follow at Mission Home Cemetery. Lunch will be provided at Faith Mission Fellowship following the committal service and all are welcome.
