Nicholas Tribastone

April 19, 1937 — September 8, 2015

Nicholas ("Nick") Tribastone, age 78, died on Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at Rosewood Village, a caring assisted living community in Charlottesville, VA he considered home.

He was born on April 19, 1937 in Tunisia to parents George Tribastone and Pauline Pagano Tribastone. He immigrated to Rochester, NY with his family as a young man and provided support to his parents, brothers and sister. Nicholas was a proud Veteran of the United States Army. He raised his family in Rochester, NY and was an employee at Eastman Kodak for 25 years before moving to Charlottesville, VA.

He was predeceased by his son Carl. Left to honor Nicholas and remember his love are: Erminia, wife of 42 years, his son Daniel with wife Michelle and grandchildren Brendan and Julia; daughter-in-law Andrea (Mo) and grandchildren Benjamin, Ethan, Zack and Ryan; brothers Joseph (Carmen), Victor (Ylva), Claude (Patricia), and sister Marie (Joseph); nieces Linda, Vanessa, Tessa and Chelsea; nephews, Joseph DiNitto (Connie), Victor DiNitto (Cindy), Patrick, Eric, Joseph Jr. and Christian; sister-in-law Igina DiNitto, brother-in-law Salvatore DiNitto and many friends in Marseille, France, Rochester, NY and Charlottesville, VA.

Some of Nicholas' favorite times included watching his grandchildren play sports and enjoying meals and conversation with good friends. His special interests and hobbies included watching soccer, planting fruit trees and gardening, golfing, taking photographs and traveling.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2015 at 11:00 AM at the Holly Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

The Tribastone family would like to extend our deepest gratitude to the entire staff at Rosewood Village for their attentiveness and loving care. In lieu of flowers, the family asks to please make a donation in memory of Nicholas Tribastone to Rosewood Village at 2029 Lockwood Drive, Charlottesville, VA 22911. We will miss Nicholas and his fortitude.
