Oliver Wendell Conley

Oliver Wendell Conley, 79, of Stanardsville, VA passed away on Thursday, May 22, 2014 at Martha Jefferson Hospital. He was born on November 12, 1934 in Greene County to the late Charlie and Eleanor Morris Conley.

He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Penelope A. Conley, his daughter, Carolyn Conley Rosson and her husband, Dennis of Madison, VA, two granddaughters, Lisa McPeak and Shannon Hovey, four great grandchildren, David Rosson, Jason Nichols, Matthew Nichols and Tyler Hovey, three brothers, Lester Conley, Steve Conley, and Harold Conley and two sisters, Redi Bortle and Leitha Roach.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two siblings, Floyd Conley and Lorena Hensley.

A private service will be held at another date.
