Patricia Ann Shifflett

Patricia Ann Shifflett, 77, of Earlysville, passed away on July 27, 2021. Patricia was born July 4, 1944, to the late George Sinclair Shifflett and Nina France Shifflett.

In addition to her parents, she was proceeded in death by her sister, Catherine Fitzgerald; brother, Clarence Shifflett; and grandsons, Mitchell Lamb and Devin Scammahorn.

Patricia is survived by her children, Melissa Shifflett, Teresa Meyer, and Kevin Lamb; grandchildren, Shana Thompson, Nicholas Meyer, Christian Meyer, Austin Lamb, Tanner Lamb, Justin Nuckols; great-grandchildren, Jacob Thomas, Kadence Thompson, and Jayden Nuckols.

Patricia, “Pat” or “Trisha”, loved bluegrass music, watching westerns, traveling, and shopping. She was one of the most caring individuals, who was always smiling and was no stranger to most. She loved to be on the go, and her love for animals was second to her family.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Sentara Home Care, especially to Janet, for their care, love, and support.

The family will receive friends from 4-6 P.M. on Sunday, August 1, 2021, at Ryan Funeral Home located at 12819 Spotswood Trail Ruckersville, VA 22968. A graveside service will be held at 11 A.M. on Monday, August 2, 2021, at Holly Memorial Gardens located at 3251 Seminole Trail Charlottesville, VA 22911, with Pastor Hamp Hall officiating.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association in Patricia’s honor.
