Patsy H. (Pat) Donour went home on Saturday, October 22, 2016. She was born on December 12, 1943 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, to the late Henry and Ethel Snyder.
Pat was preceded in death by her husband, Charles F. Donour and grandson, Victor Lloyd Shifflett.
She is survived by her daughter, Sandra D. Shifflett and her husband, Vic of Stanardsville; son, Charles F. Donour, Jr. and his wife, Kim of Ruckersville; seven grandchildren, Amanda Marchette of Charlottesville, Trevor Charles Shifflett and wife, Sara of Ruckersville, Joshua Donour, Leah Beth Donour, Jeremiah Donour, Ethan Donour and Seth Donour all of Ruckersville; two great grandchildren, Chase Marchette of Charlottesville and Piper Shifflett of Ruckersville; her sisters, Rita Donour of Stanardsville, Gladys Estes, Clyde Richardson and Clarice Booth of Tuscaloosa, AL.
Pat touched the lives of many people. We will always cherish the way she embraced and celebrated the joy of life and will never forget her charismatic spirit. While she will be greatly missed, Heaven has gained a true southern belle.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 25, 2016 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Ryan Funeral Home, 12819 Spotswood Trail, Ruckersville, VA 22968.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Spring Hill Baptist Church, 2620 Frays Mill Rd., Ruckersville, VA 22968 with Pastor Dan Carlton officiating.
Interment will follow in Spring Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
