Paul "Dickie" Stevenson Shifflett

Paul “Dickie” Stevenson Shifflett, 56 , of Dyke, Virginia passed away unexpectedly on September 21, 2020.

He was born April 2, 1964 , son of the Timothy Paul Shifflett and the late Ruby Shifflett Carver.

In addition to his mother, Dickie was preceded in death by a sister, Paula Sue.

Dickie is survived by his siblings, Phyllis Morris (Winston), Wanda Shifflett (Fred), Clarence “PeeWee” Shifflett (Jennifer). Allen Shifflett (Crystal) all of Ruckersville, Karen Crawford (Sam), Barbara Allen all of Charlottesville, Timmy Shifflett of Capron, Elvis Shifflett, Jeffery Shifflett all of Dyke, Timothy “Jabo” Shifflett and Lois Shifflett(T.J.) all of Scottsville, and Pete Shifflett (Annie) of Troy; stepmother, Hazel Shifflett and her children, Peggy “Sissy” Shifflett and Keith “Chico” Shifflett (Hope).  He also leaves to cherish his memory a special aunt, Charlotte Perry and many uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces and friends.

Dickie enjoyed the outdoors, working in his garden, listening to music and spending time with his friend, Frank Morris, and riding the back roads with his best friend, his “Old Man.”

A funeral service will be held 1:00 P.M. Monday, September 28, 2020 at Ryan Funeral Home, 12819 Spotswood Trail Ruckersville, VA 22968 with Rev. C.C. Kurtz officiating. Interment to follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Due to Covid-19, masks are required.

A visitation will be held two hours prior to the service.
